Do you know what it’s like not to know what it’s like to be heterosexual

to be gay, to be transgender, to be queer, to be who we are?

Do you know what it’s like not to know what it’s like when one asks me

What is it like to be heterosexual?

We brush our teeth different and all my undergarments must be colour-coded.

How do you do ‘it’?

We light a fire and offer garlands to the wind spirits for a successful coitus.
